I’m not really sure what rock I’ve been living under, but when I spied this bedding set from Rikshaw Design, I knew an entire space must be inspired from of this color scheme, and over all feel. A well-traveled, organic eclectic feel gives this space great bones, beautiful color, and a fabulous room to grow on.

1. I’ll start with the bedding for this space, but this Udaipur crib set is full of colorful goodness and a cuddly bundle you’ll love for baby. For the entire look, add the Oeuf Classic Crib!

2. + 4. A swoon-worthy rug from DwellStudio to bring the space together: I love it’s geometric shapes, which contrast beautifully with these Sally Bennet canvas reproductions chosen for the space. Their hues work together to complement the bedding, as well as the rest of the colors chosen for the space.

3. Accent pieces like this adorable elephant pillow, and Serena and Lily lamp, are sure to be treasured items for years to come.

5. This Bradshaw Kirchofer dresser brings in a nice, soft feminine touch, to contrast unexpectedly with the modern crib and chair. It adds to the interest of the space. With pops of color in these pretty knobs, they add a touch of glimmer.

6. This handsome Oilo glider would work for either gender, but I love the shot of lime thrown in for the piping.

This room is simply a sea faring space for your little one. I think I might add a navy blue pirate’s flag on the wall for an added touch of young fun in the room.

Today I have a beautiful and calming nursery to share with you.  I always love a good mixture of greens and browns.

I stumbled upon this hummingbird romper and felt completely inspired for this shared space for a boy or a girl. Infused with shots of teal, lime and navy, it’s an energetic room with space to grow.

1. These Mati Rose McDonough paintings on the wall bring in colors with exciting texture and design, to inspire for years.

2. The Manhattan dresser from Bratt Decor in this creamy finish keeps the room light and carefree. Bump it up a notch, and use another opportunity to tie in pops of color with these fabulous glass knobs.

3. An accent wall with this crazy Olli and Lime wall paper infuses the room with a unique energy. Complimented with this beautiful yellow Serena and Lily wall paint, keeps it light and airy.

4. For the bedding: A custom New Arrivals duvet made with this aqua gives the room an additional pop of color. I’m not big on obvious themes, but the whole animals idea really kind of smacked me in the face when I laid eyes on this fantabulous elephant bookshelf. Children should definitely have their own spaces, defined by great design which can spark their imaginations and inspire them to create. I think this space does just that — with touches of bright color, irresistible patterns and a few fun combinations. It has places for their toys, areas to organize for the parents who wish to instill those life long habits, and most importantly, it gives them their own space to have fun… to take a walk on the wild side, if you will. I totally want this room.

1. Of course, given the theme, it’s only appropriate that we begin with this adorable little elephant bookshelf via the fabulous DwellStudio designers. It’s so cute. How can your kids not love it?

2. Serving as 3-d puzzles, these little magnetic animals (also from DwellStudio) can be disassembled and rebuilt, in any configuration. My 16 month old, my 2.75 year old, and my 5 year old, would all love these. Adding to Christmas list… check.

3. Of course the room needs a touch of color to bring it all together. Serena and Lily’s Sprout Wall Paint does just that.

4. The perfect piece of wall art to give the room yet another touch of bright color. I love this composition.

5. This piece of furniture gives a nod to modern design, and offers a sleek storage solution that is easily accessible for little hands. I think with an application of this vinyl wall decal, it gives it a touch of custom flair, and another layer of added color.

6. Another interactive piece for the room, these adhesive chalkboard animals take it up a notch.

7. These soft Serena and Lily square chairs provide a fun and comfy seating arrangement.

8. In contrast to the modern dresser, this little table provides an excellent area for creating til their hearts are content… and the Bradshaw Kirchofer pieces can be painted in any color. I personally love the aqua finish (as seen in the square.)

Do you like to keep the gender of your baby a surprise until they’re born? Surprises are so much fun and these days, it’s so easy to design a gender neutral nursery so you are prepared whether the baby’s a boy or girl. For this nursery, I went with a color scheme of green and orange with a touch of blue and brown.

And now for a breakdown of the goodies:

1. I wanted to keep the feel of the room light and airy and the Nurseryworks Snow Loom Crib does just the trick. Not only is it white which will help provide a little contrast in the room, but the design of it is also simple and clean.
2. The room design all started with the Area Baby White Mini Organic Crib Bedding Set. I love the combination of circles and stripes, and the color palette it provided for the room design.
3. To tie everything together, I chose this gorgeous Serena and Lily Rug Leaf Deco Frame. To say I love it is an understatement. It’s simple and perfect and it’s a great foundation piece to this nursery.
4. Another beautiful piece is the Nurseryworks Storytime Rocker. Having a rocker or glider in the nursery is a must in my book. It makes everything much more comfortable for baby and mother.
5. I also firmly believe in changing tables. They are better then bending down on the floor to change a diaper– much easier on the back anyways! And they’re great for extra storage too. The Argington Furniture White Bam Changing Table is similar in design to the crib, keeping the room light and airy. I have paired the changing table with the matching diaper caddy and for a little pop of color the Serena and Lily Orange Basketweave Large Storage Bin. Both of these will make everything more organized.
6. I felt the room needed more pops of color so I chose the Whistle and Wink Preppy Stripe Window Panels. The blue and green combination adds a little texture to the room.
7. I would hang this Olli and Lime Little Billie Wall Art above the rocker or the changing table. It’s such a cute, cute piece and it also helps bring our color palette together.
8. For additional lighting in the room, add the Oilo Solid Spring Green Double Decker Light. I love the depth the double decker gives to the look of the light. This would be perfect hanging over the rocker.
