I’ve accepted that you cannot do everything well, all the time. I do, after all, have a 2.5 year daughter, Lily, and she is the priority, utilizing a constant 95% of our effort at all times. Secondary is managing her bedroom which is usually strewn with clothing. A new habit, which is admittedly a fun one to watch, is the trying on of every article of clothing she possesses. Here’s the routine: wake up. Change clothes. Eat breakfast. Spill jam on shirt. Change outfit. Eat snack/play outside. Dirty second outfit. Outfit overhaul again.
So, if you hadn’t already surmised where this is going, we are in desperate need of a laundry hamper in her room. A single place to deposit all her clothing would make keeping her room tidy much easier, not to mention, a cute little pop of functional style in her room. I love the 3 Sprouts laundry hampers and am torn between the mountain goat and deer-they are both adorable! But the 3 Sprouts Laundry Hamper is definitely the answer to our dilemma. Help Polka Dot Peacock!
we’ve got a new baby on the way (due in august) so it would be really thrilling to win something wonderful for the nursery. the room is really tiny so, organization will be key. The deer laundry hamper is fun, because the room theme will be a vintage woodland, but I really really love the Manhattan armoire!
My two year old’s books are stacked in a corner of his room because we never got him a bookshelf. Would love the Oeuf Library or any of the ferm baskets,
I love the Macbeth Collection’s personalized tool caddy. Would go a long way in helping organize our kitchen!
I’m in love with the Oeuf toy storage shelving in birch. I wouldn’t even mind it in a main living area of the house. I only have one 20 month old with a second on the way and I cannot believe how much stuff accumulates. Everything needs a place even if its in exposed bins. The Oeuf is nice to look at and functional too!
so many good options! i have a pick for me and then one for my son…we have very different priorities! the 3 sprouts storage bin with the raccoon would win my son’s heart hands down- its his favorite animal and would be great motivation to put away his toys. combine it with the ferm living wire basket in yellow and they would be great toy catchers, especially for the stuffed raccoon collection!
for me (well, moms need to be organized too!) i would have to choose the argington furniture fuji toy box. it has a great design, great color selection, and there is nothing better than extra seating or flat surfaces for play once those toys are put away. i love this piece because it is so efficient!
Having a brand new baby at home, keeping the house organized is not as easy as it used to be! I’m learning to set small goals for myself but anything that would make it easier would be so very welcome!
It wasn’t easy trying to pick my favorite thing to help organize my life, but it was fun browsing all the amazing items for sale. After much thought, I’ve decided I think the “Nurseryworks Bookcase Storytime Light Double” would be the perfect thing to store my grandchildten’s 10,000 books – absolutely love the tiny compartments for the tiny books!
I think that The Macbeth Collection midi bath storage bin woul be a great (and adorable) way to stash my grandbaby’s diapers, wipes and lotions! http://polkadotpeacock.com/macbeth-midi-bath.html
I need the metal buckets from the Macbeth Collection for my playroom! The ability to personalize them would add so much to our playroom storage and organization! I can’t wait to add the vibrant and kid friendly colors to our family space.
With a house full of girls, I think the Bradshaw Kirchofer Furniture Harry’s Toy Box in Multiple Color Options maintains our princess theme while remaining classical at the same time.
As a grandmother, I’m always looking for wasys to organize my thoughts about my beautiful grandchildren (jennie age 8; meredith age 5; and jonah age 3). The Rag and Bone Bindery Baby’s First Book would give me the perfect opportunity to record my joy and involvement in their lives!
Cute. Quaint. And a bit retro. The Flower Hook Daisy in light yellow http://www.polkadotpeacock.com/d3-daisy-hook-light-yellow-hk1102.html would be a great storage and organziation helper!
Anything from 3 Sprouts would make us happy! Cute, colorful and sturdy. We love 3 Sprouts!
I resolve to put our books on a shelf! I feel like we have books growing out of every corner of my three year old’s room. The Nurseryworks Bookcase in Tree Green would give him a unique place to store his favorite bedtime stories! http://www.polkadotpeacock.com/nurseryworks-bookcase-tree-green.html
The Yellow Ferm Living Wire Baskets would be a perfect thing to help us stay organized around the house!
I like this Ferm Living Spear Organic Storage Basket http://www.polkadotpeacock.com/ferm-living-spear-basket-9110.html
I love the design, colors, and I’m sure i could find many uses for it.
